 The Monastery of El Escorial (Madrid), built after Felipe II orders, was once called 'The Austrias Palace'
 The ship battle of Lepanto (Greece).

After the battle, the Liga Santa (Spanish Empire, Toscana, Malta and others) got only 12 Galeras sunk or destroyed, and 7600 dead men. 
On the other hand, the Otomano Empire (Turkish)  lose 190 ships and got more than 30.000 casualties (dead men)...
