The NASA Apollo XI Mission
For
thousands of years, man had looked to the night sky and dreamed of walking on the
moon. In 1969, as part of the Apollo 11 mission, Neil Armstrong became the very
first to get that dream, followed only minutes later by Buzz Aldrin.
Enjoy the images provided by the NASA of that amazing journey, taking off and landing on the moon, as well as unseen images of the three astronauts by the short time they spent on the moon's surface, all images accompanied with the extraordinary Johann Strauss's Blue Danube waltz.
